Come Worship with Us
What Worship Means at Henderson UMC
Worship is at the heart of who we are at Henderson United Methodist Church. It’s more than a weekly gathering—it’s a time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most.
In worship, we lift our hearts toward God, refocusing our minds and spirits away from the distractions of everyday life. It helps ground us, renews our strength, and reminds us that we are part of something larger than ourselves. Worship feeds the soul and prepares us to live out our faith in the world.
We invite you to join us every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for our weekly worship service. Our style is traditional, with music, Scripture, prayer, and preaching rooted in the richness of our Methodist heritage.
Our traditional worship service features special music monthly, presented by talented musicians who generously share their time and talents with God. We are blessed to be the recipients of those gifts. Our choir sings three times a month, and we welcome all who would like to join us.
Children are warmly welcomed in worship. Each week includes a child-friendly message designed to speak to young hearts and curious minds, helping them grow in their understanding of God’s love.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month, as well as on special occasions throughout the year. At Henderson UMC, the Communion table is open to all. It doesn’t belong to the church or the pastor—it belongs to God. Everyone is welcome to receive this sacred meal of grace, regardless of background or belief.
Come and see what God is doing in our community. There’s a place for you here.
